Weather | I hate HATE that it never gets above 65 degrees. I hate how cold and windy it is. The freezing cold super strong winds make going outside after 12pm almost unbearable for me because I have a health condition that causes severe facial pain triggered by cold wind. I am in a city and there is no parking anywhere so if you whatever you can’t walk to you can’t go to, which has significantly limited my ability to go to stores, find a yoga studio and explore. There is no public transit except overpriced Lyft or rideshares. The dew point and moisture is so high (humidity) that, combined with the wind, is disasterous for my curly hair and I basically always look sloppy and unkept. I’m miserable here. It’s hard to meet people. Been here 3 years and have no friends despite going out every day. |
